Wissenschaftlicher Lebenslauf

Denisa Butnaru absolvierte 1999‒2003 einen Bachelor in Soziologie und 2000‒2004 einen Bachelor in Englisch-Japanisch an der Universität Babes-Bolyai, Klausenburg. Durch ein Erasmus Stipendium verbrachte sie 2002 ein Semester an der Université Marc Bloch, Strasbourg 2.
Sie hat 2003‒2004 einen doppelten Master zwischen der Université de Poitiers und der Universität Babes-Bolyai in der Geschichte der Philosophie mit Schwerpunkt Phänomenologie abgeschlossen. Von 2004 bis 2005 hat sie als Stipendiatin der französischen Regierung einen Master in Soziologie an der Université Marc Bloch Strasbourg 2 abgeschlossen. Dort war sie 2005‒2008 im Rahmen eines Promotionsprojekts in soziologischer Theorie über den Begriff der Bedeutung in sozialer Phänomenologie und Charles Sanders Peirces Semiotik als Allocataire-Monitrice tätig.
2006 verbrachte sie im Rahmen eines CIERA (Centre interdisciplinaire d’études et de recherches sur l’Allemagne) Stipendiums für die Promotion einen Forschungsaufenthalt am Alfred-Schütz-Gedächtnis-Archiv, Universität Konstanz und 2007 einen Forschungsaufenthalt am Alfred Schütz Memorial Archive, Waseda University, Tokyo.
2008‒2009 war sie Dozentin (ATER) an der soziologischen Fakultät der Université Nancy 2.
2009 wurde sie im Fachbereich Soziologie an der Université de Strasbourg bei Prof. Dr. Patrick Watier promoviert und hat im selben Jahr einen Master in Anglistik mit Schwerpunkt britische Literaturwissenschaft abgeschlossen. 2009‒2010 war sie Dozentin (ATER) mit dem Profil „Psychologie und Soziologie der Behinderung“, im Fachbereich Sport, Université de Strasbourg. Von 2012‒2013 arbeitete sie als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in dem DFG geförderten Projekt „Soziologische Wissenskulturen“ an der Universität Augsburg. Das Projekt ging der Frage nach der Entwicklung wissenschaftlicher Wissenskulturen am Beispiel der qualitativen Sozialforschung in der universitären Soziologie in Deutschland und Frankreich seit Mitte der 1960er Jahre bis heute nach.

Habilitationsprojekt

Das Projekt untersucht unter dem Aspekt der Motilitätsdysfunktionen die faktualen Erzählungen „devianter Körper“ und leistet somit einen entscheidenden Beitrag zur Körpersoziologie, zur Soziologie der Identität und zu den Disability Studies. Die empirische Methode, auf die hierfür zurückgegriffen wird, ist das narrative Interview. Die Interviews werden mit Personen geführt, die unter Zerebralparesen und Rückenmarksverletzungen leiden. Das Ziel des Projekts ist es, die Konstruktion des leiblich-narrativen Selbst dieser zwei Zustände zu vergleichen, um alternative Modelle des Leibkörpers, die durch Bewegungsdysfunktionen entstehen und die in Narrative produziert werden, darzustellen. Die Konzeption der Devianz wird in zwei Dimensionen verstanden: Zum einen wird Devianz als Abweichung definiert, zum anderen wird  sie in zwei motilitätsdysfunktionalen Modellen in Bezug auf die Anwendung bionischer Technologien problematisiert, die den Leibkörper nicht nur rehabilitieren sondern auch optimieren.

Um die leiblich-körperliche Selbstdarstellungsmöglichkeiten aufzuzeigen, wird der phänomenologische Ansatz als theoretischer Rahmen genutzt. Rezente Perspektiven in der Phänomenologie (darunter Dan Zahavis, Shaun Gallaghers, Robert Gugutzers, Thomas Fuchss), die sich auf Selbsttheorien und die Rolle der Leiblichkeit in den Bedeutungsprozessen konzentrieren, sind besonders relevant für das Projekt. Ein zentraler Aspekt, der in den Narrativen problematisiert wird, ist, wie die körperlich-leiblichen Authentizitätsrepertoires narrativ formuliert werden.
