• English students interested in studying abroad via Erasmus are required to attend two annual information sessions. Attendance is a necessary part of the application process, as the precise details of the application procedure are explained during the info sessions.

  The information sessions for the academic year 2025/26 – this includes both the 2025 Winter Semester and the 2026 Summer Semester – will take place on

  In order to attend the information sessions, please register via e-mail with the Erasmus coordinator at erasmus@anglistik.uni-freiburg.de

  In order to attend the information sessions, please register via e-mail by November 25 at 6pm with the Erasmus coordinator at erasmus@anglistik.uni-freiburg.de

  Attendance at the first information session is a necessary prerequisite for attendance at the second. Information on how to access the Zoom conference will be sent via email on Monday, November 28 at 10am.

  Please note that an Erasmus-exchange in Great Britain is still possible in the 2022/23 academic year!

Info-Veranstaltung: Auslandsaufenthalt im Lehramtsstudium

• In der digitalen Veranstaltung „Auslandsaufenthalt im Lehramtsstudium“ erhalten Sie Informationen zu Organisationen und Programmen, die einen Auslandsaufenthalt während Ihres Lehramtsstudiums ermöglichen.
• Die eingeladenen Referent:innen der Organisationen, z.B. des PAD, werden berichten und Ihre Fragen beantworten; Erfahrungen von Studierenden runden das Programm ab, das nicht nur für zukünftige Fremdsprachenlehrer:innen interessant ist.
• Hinweis: Das studienbezogene ERASMUS-Programm wird kein Thema sein.

maniACTs: "The One Act Play that Goes Wrong"

Ulysses Reading

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the publication of James Joyce's Ulysses, Prof. Dr. Monika Fludernik and Dr. Roman Barton are organizing a partial reading of the book.

Please join them  for or a belated Bloomsday on Tuesday, 21 June, from 3 to 9pm in the KG I auditorium (AULA). Members of the English department will read four pivotal chapters in full - Telemachus, Calypso, Wandering Rocks, and Penelope - as well as minimal sections from other chapters.
